MICHAEL HURST
Michael is New Zealand's premiere performer of Shakespeare, as well as an accomplished stage and screen actor and director. Best known by international audiences as Iolaus, Hercules' sidekick in the cult series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and as a television director including Spartacus, Ash vs. Evil Dead, Westside, and 800 Words. His contribution to New Zealand arts was acknowledged in 2003 with a Laureate Award from the Arts Foundation of New Zealand, and again in 2005 when he was made an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit.
Michael is on the Artistic Board of The Actors’ Program and is Chair of the Auckland University Students Association Outdoor Shakespeare Trust. See his official website. |

NATALIE MEDLOCK
In 2005 Natalie moved to Wellington to pursue her acting dream and gained a place in the prestigious Toi Whakaari drama school. She appeared on screen in Shortland Street, Feedback, Diplomatic Immunity, and The Almighty Johnsons. On stage she has performed in Assassins, Dog Sees God, Life is a Dream, Back Story, Whero's New Net, and Songs of Hollow Hill (which she also wrote).
Together with Dan Musgrove, Natalie write and performed in the plays Toys, Christ Almighty!, A Song for the Ugly Kids, The Giant Face, Blinkers and Spurs and Yeti is Dead/I am Tom. |

DAN MUSGROVE
Dan has spent a decade working in an impressive list of theatre productions including Henry VI, The Changling, Holding the Man, and Life is a Dream. He also has appeared in television shows including Legend of the Seeker, Piece of My Heart, and The Tribe, as well as playing the starring role of Marty Johnstone in Underbelly NZ: Land of the Long Green Cloud. He also had a speaking part in international film, The Tracker.
Together with Natalie Medlock, Dan write and performed in the plays in the plays Toys, Christ Almighty!, A Song for the Ugly Kids, The Giant Face, Blinkers and Spurs and Yeti is Dead/I am Tom. Directing credits include Faux Real. |

CHARLIE McDERMOTT
Charlie hit the ground running after graduating from drama school, appearing in Silo Theatre’s hit shows This is Our Youth and Shopping and F***ing, followed by Mr. Marmalade, Hamlet, The Threepenny Opera, The Little Dog Laughed, Holding the Man and Loot. He is the manager of The Basement Theatre, Auckland’s premier development space for burgeoning actors, writers and directors. In partnership with Beth Allen, his production company, Royale Productions, has produced six plays in two years, with another two in development. |

BETH ALLEN
Beth started acting at the tender age of eleven. She has appeared in many TV roles including Riding High, Xena: Warrior Princess, The Tribe and Outrageous Fortune, and for four years has been a star of Shortland Street.
In 2008 Beth took to the stage, performing in The Eight: Reindeer Monologues. Since then, she has dedicated much of her time to theatre, co-producing and starring in the Basement Theatre's Christ Almighty!, Killer Joe, Vagina Monologues and Toys. In partnership with Charlie McDermott, her production company, Royale Productions, has produced six plays in two years, with another two in development. |
